Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by href="http://www.mycharmingkids.net">MckMama. You can head over to href="http://www.mycharmingkids.net%22%3eher/ blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

First of all, let me say that jewelry making is only a hobby. I do not spend obscene amounts of time obsessing over it.

I did not open a store on Etsy to sell my jewelry. I am not crushed that I have not sold a single piece yet after not spending hours photographing, listing, labeling, and packaging the jewelry. And that is not my purple TV or my copy of Nightmare Before Christmas. I'm 28, for Christ's sake!

Money does not grow on trees. So of course I did not spend $179.87 at Beadaholique.

Nope...this did not cost $179.87.

I did not spend over an hour on this bracelet, only to decide that I like it too much and must keep it for myself.

Now, on to other things...

I love doing laundry. So this is not my laundry pile standing close to 5 feet high.

The little girl I babysit, lil J, did not give me this flower pot for mother's day. And I did not promptly fill it with about $70 in quarters instead of, oh, I don't know...a flower.

I would never, ever take lil J out in the rain just to get cute pics of her with her umbrella.

I don't make wishes on dandelions. And I certainly don't photograph weeds.

And I don't encourage lil J to make wishes on weeds.

  1. Loved your Not Me's!
Your laundry pile make me snort! I have one just like it. Dang. I just hope my kids don't outgrow the dirty clothes before I get them washed.

  3. Love them! My sister once saw my 5 Foot Tall pile of laundry and guffawed at it. I just looked at her and said..."Yup, 4 kids."

  4. I have 4 kids too and my laundry pile has taken over the love seat permanently! I can get it washed and dried and piled on the loveseat... but folded and put away? Ha!

But don't worry, when company comes over I absolutely have not ever filled two garbage bags with said unfolded laundry and shoved them in a closet for a few hours.

Not me... that would be crazy!
