Win It Wednesday WINNER

I'm a little late here (I know, same old story!) but the winner of last week's Win It Wednesday contest is Mary Jo, who, in addition to answering all the questions correctly (even naming ALL the bracelets named after songs by my favorite band, The Elders) was the ONLY person to enter the contest. Yay Mary Jo! Boo everyone else for missing out on a great prize package! MJ, in addition to winning the green shamrock charm bracelet, which I have dubbed "Weekend Irish" (after a song by Barleyjuice) in honor of the GAIF, you are also getting a copy of Gael Day, the latest CD by The Elders. (Your copy is, in fact, new, but the CD was rattling around in the case so I had to open the shrink wrap to inspect it for scratches - no worries, it's fine! - and properly secure it. Sorry.) It's a fantastic album and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

P.S. I made a very similar bracelet for myself and wore it to GAIF last weekend...I can't tell you how many compliments I got on it! Mary Jo, your bracelet is 7 3/4" long but changing the length is no problem. If you'd like it longer or shorter just e-mail me and I'll fix it up and get it off to you ASAP...which brings me to this...

P.S. 2 Lissa, SO sorry you haven't gotten your bracelet yet! I've been super busy lately but I did finally make it to the post office last week so hopefully you'll get it very soon.
That's all for now, but I have TONS of pics from the Irish festival and will probably be posting them sometime soon.

  1. well YAY! HAHA I was hoping I would win, I love all things Irish! I can't wait to listen to the CD, that is really freakin' cool! I love listening to that kind of music so I'm excited to hear your much loved Elders! Thanks so much Kristin! 7 3/4 should be fine, I usually go about 7 1/2 so it's great as is, no need to adjust anything. I am excited and I cannot wait!!

  2. YAY! I'm so excited for you to hear the Elders! Seriously, they're so, so awesome and I really hope you love the CD. And I'm glad that someone who loves all things Irish won! I was gonna grab a GAIF 2009 shirt to throw in too, but I was so busy running all over the festival doing stuff that I totally forgot to.
